Can I Combine a Facelift with an Eyelid Lift?

Visible signs of aging typically affect more than one area at once. As a result, it only makes sense to address them all at once too. Combination procedures such as a facelift and eyelid lift can correct and improve several cosmetic concerns with a one-time procedure.  These are the combination procedures which require a multidisciplinary approach to achieve the best aesthetic and functional results possible.  This is our mission at Specialty Aesthetic Surgery.

Depending on your individual needs and goals, you may be a good candidate for one or both procedures. Let’s take a closer look at what each procedure entails to see if it might be a good fit for you.

Facelift

Traditional facelifts can take years off your appearance by smoothing wrinkles, lifting sagging jowls, and correcting sunken cheeks.

Eyelid Lift

An eyelid lift, or blepharoplasty, is one of the best ways to reverse the signs of aging. Loose, sagging eyelid skin is cleared away making your eyes look more open and bright. An eyelid lift is ideal for patients with excess skin and fat around their upper and/or lower eyelids.

If you’re considering these procedures, it may be advantageous to have them done at the same time. When the two procedures are combined, all aging areas of the face are addressed simultaneously. In addition, the healing time remains the same. Most importantly, a facelift and an eyelid lift can work synergistically to give you a cohesive refreshed look.

During your in-person consultation, you may have both of our board-certified surgeons complete a full evaluation to help determine what procedures are optimal for you. Having an ENT Facial Plastic surgeon and an Oculoplastic surgeon evaluating you together gives best possible treatment plan tailored to suit your needs and give your face a younger, healthier-looking appearance.
