How Much Does A Mini Facelift Cost?

Mini facelifts make a great alternative for patients seeking to address their aging concerns before they become more pronounced. The procedure can treat moderate jowling and sagging skin with less invasive methods decreasing pain, scarring, and downtime. By opting for a mini facelift, patients can postpone the need for more expensive surgeries for years.

A traditional facelift can cost anywhere from $7,700-$11,780 according to the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery (ABCS). A mini procedure can be a cost-effective anti-aging solution compared to a full facelift. Mini procedures can start out as low as $3,500 and go upwards of $8,000 depending on a variety of factors.

What Goes Into the Cost of a Mini Facelift?

The top three expenses for almost any surgical procedure are going to be your surgeon’s fees, hospital operating costs, and anesthesia. Because a mini facelift is less invasive, patients can save on all three of these major expenses. Let’s take a closer look.

Mini Facelift Surgeon’s Fees

While a mini facelift does take great surgical skill to create natural-looking results, the procedure is much less time-consuming than a traditional facelift. Standard facelifts can take upwards of 3-4 hours, but a mini facelift can be done in as little as 2-hours. Typically, a surgeon will take his or her time into account when customizing prices for facelift procedures.

Mini Facelift Anesthesia & Hospital Expenses

Again, hospital and anesthesia expenses are priced on an hourly basis. That’s why procedures that are less complex and can be done in a shorter amount of time often have a lower price tag.

Furthermore, not all mini facelifts require the use of general anesthesia. Depending on your individual needs, your surgeon may suggest a local anesthetic which can be more cost-effective.
