How Much is Hair Restoration?

If you want to restore the thick, full-looking hair you once had, now you can achieve it using your own hair follicles. Hair restoration can rejuvenate hair in balding or thinning areas. Many people feel that the benefits of hair restoration far outweigh the costs.

What is Hair Restoration?

Hair thins or disappears when the hair follicles become inactive. Hair restoration takes follicles from areas with active hair growth and transplants them to the areas of concern. What Results Will I See From Hair Restoration?

After the transplanted follicles have time to establish themselves, you will see them start to grow hair. Hair will grow to fill in thinning or balding areas. This hair behaves exactly like it did in its previous location. Once your scalp has healed, you can do anything with this hair that you would have done with the hair you lost.

What is Recovery Like From Hair Restoration?

Your scalp will feel sore and swollen for several days, and you may have antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medications during that time. Your head will have bandages on it for at least a day or two. Most people can go back to work in three to five days. The transplanted follicles will shed their hairs after the procedure then start to grow new hair in about a month.

Am I a Good Candidate for Hair Restoration?

You may be a good candidate for hair restoration if you have areas of thinning or hair loss. Good candidates have reasonable expectations about what to expect from the procedure and how much new growth they may see.
