What is Fat Grafting?

When it comes to getting youthful volume back in your face, it may feel like you have one of two options: get a facial filler, or opt for a facial implant.

What is Fat Grafting?

Fat grafting is an innovative cosmetic procedure that uses your body’s own fat to augment key facial areas that may have lost volume over time as a result of:

During a fat grafting procedure, your plastic surgeon removes a specific amount of fat from a donor area of your body (usually the abdomen, thighs, or another area with high-density fat tissue). This fat is cleansed and placed into a special injector tool, which is used to directly inject the fat in the desired treatment areas.
