Lip Lift

A New Alternative to Create Fuller, Plumper Lips

Do you dream of having a plumper pout? Want the kind of lips that will make you look like a social media influencer? If that’s the case, you may be a good candidate for a Lip Lift.

A Lip Lift is a minor surgical treatment that creates the appearance of a fuller, plumper pout. Unlike lip fillers and injections, results from a Lip Lift can be permanent. The Lip Lift is now available for lip augmentation at Specialty Aesthetics Surgery in NYC.

What is a Lip Lift?

A Lip Lift is a surgical procedure that increases the height of the red lip to create the appearance of a fuller pout.

During your Lip Lift, your plastic surgeon will shorten the space between your top lip and the nose. Tissue is removed to make this height look more natural, giving you the luscious pout you’ve always wanted.

A Lip Lift can also create a more defined lip border. Some types of Lip Lifts can be done to slightly turn the corners of the lips upward, creating a small smile. This option is great for patients who feel as though their lips have a “downward” appearance or always look like they’re frowning.

Am I A Good Candidate For a Lip Lift?

You’re a good candidate for a Lip Lift if you’re unhappy with the shape of your lips. Ideal candidates look to add height to their lips, rather than volume.

How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?

A Lip Lift is done in-office, as it’s a minor surgery. The surgery takes less than an hour to perform.

What Results Will I See*

Patients will see a noticeable difference in how their lips look. While you won’t see increased volume, you will see more height from your upper lip. This can help create the overall appearance of a more plump upper lip.

Is There Any Downtime?

There’s minor downtime from this surgery. You may need to wear sutures for approximately one  week. You’ll need to rest the day after surgery, plus avoid any type of smoking for two months after surgery.

You should avoid sleeping on your face. You’ll also be advised to gently brush your teeth when using a toothbrush. Avoid opening your mouth too wide, as this could cause your surgical incisions to weep.
