Restylane® is a clear gel filler that is formulated with hyaluronic acid. This formula is specifically designed to act like your body’s own hyaluronic acid, which helps to visibly reduce the appearance of moderate to severe facial folds and wrinkles. This includes nasolabial folds (the lines that run from your mouth to your nose) and marionette lines (the lines that run from the corner of your mouth to the chin).
How Restylane® Works
Restylane® is a clear liquid gel that is injected into the face or lips. First the treatment area is sterilized. Then, the injection specialist will inject the Restylane® beneath the skin. The hyaluronic acid in the filler adheres to the skin and brings excess water to the area. This helps retain the volume under the skin’s surface and preserves the newly added volume. Results can be fully seen within a week of the treatment.
