How Long Does a Liquid Rhinoplasty Last?

Even subtle changes to your nose can dramatically affect your facial appearance. However, not everyone wants to undergo surgery to achieve their desired results. Liquid rhinoplasty can reshape your nose for natural-looking results. Liquid rhinoplasty allows you to enhance your nose without surgery or recovery time.

What is a Liquid Rhinoplasty?

Liquid rhinoplasty uses dermal fillers to change your nose’s appearance. Dermal fillers add volume and shape, allowing your injection specialist to create the look you want. The results of a liquid rhinoplasty are not as dramatic as a surgical rhinoplasty, but they can make a noticeable difference. Dermal fillers also allow your injection specialist to hide or smooth away small bumps and other concerns. A liquid rhinoplasty can even be used as a way to “try on” changes to your nose before committing to a surgical procedure.

How Does a Liquid Rhinoplasty Work?

During a liquid rhinoplasty, dermal fillers are injected into your nose to improve its appearance. In most cases, only small amounts of filler are needed to produce smooth, natural-looking results. Sculpting the nose with dermal fillers requires experience and artistry. The procedure can erase many minor imperfections and give you a nose you feel more confident about. A liquid rhinoplasty takes about half an hour, and you can leave immediately afterward.

How Long Does a Liquid Rhinoplasty Last?

Dermal fillers offer a safe but temporary option for enhancing your nose. Each dermal filler has a different lifespan. The most common dermal fillers for this purpose use hyaluronic acid (HA), a molecule that occurs naturally in your skin. HA fillers last on average about a year, although some may last a bit longer. During your consultation, we will review how long you expect your results to last.

What are the Benefits of a Liquid Rhinoplasty?

A liquid rhinoplasty cannot dramatically change your nose’s shape or straightness. However, it works exceptionally well in disguising or correcting minor issues. Benefits of a liquid rhinoplasty include:

No Downtime

You can return to your usual activities after treatment. Your nose may look red or swollen and feel sore for a day or two. A surgical rhinoplasty will usually involve at least a week or two before you can return to work. A liquid rhinoplasty works well for people who do not have time for an extended recovery. You should avoid rubbing your nose or exercising until the next day.

Natural-Looking Enhancement

The results of a liquid rhinoplasty look natural but rest assured that people will notice. The procedure has an impressive 96% satisfaction rate based on hundreds of reviews. Not everyone needs a surgical procedure to achieve their desired results, making a liquid rhinoplasty an excellent option.

Minimal Risk

If you do not like the results of your rhinoplasty, you will need another expensive procedure to current it. The results of a liquid rhinoplasty are temporary. While surgery always carries some risks, dermal fillers are extremely low-risk, and significant problems are rare. Dermal filler injections are minimally invasive and require no anesthetic.

What Can a Liquid Rhinoplasty Treat?

A liquid rhinoplasty can significantly improve issues including:

  • Enlarging parts of the nose
  • Smoothing our imperfections
  • Straightening or hiding bumps
  • Correcting minor asymmetry
  • Creating the illusion of a smaller nose

A liquid rhinoplasty cannot make your nose smaller or straighten a crooked nose. It will not improve functional issues, so if you have problems with breathing through your nose, you may need a functional rhinoplasty.

How Much Does a Liquid Rhinoplasty Cost?

Your injection specialist will customize your liquid rhinoplasty to meet your needs. As a result, costs may vary. The price of dermal fillers differs between locations and providers, and the amount you need will depend on your treatment plan. The average cost of a liquid rhinoplasty is $1000 to $2000. While this is considerably less expensive than a surgical procedure, you can expect to repeat your liquid rhinoplasty every year or so. Only you can decide which will make a better choice based on your needs and goals. Some people love their liquid rhinoplasty results so much that they are happy to maintain them.

Am I a Good Candidate for a Liquid Rhinoplasty?

If you want to change your nose’s shape or overall appearance, you might be a good candidate for a liquid rhinoplasty. The dermal fillers used in this procedure contain biocompatible materials that rarely trigger any reaction from the body. You may not be a good candidate if you have rosacea or a skin infection. People who are not good candidates for a surgical rhinoplasty may be able to have a liquid rhinoplasty.
